Live Dealer Paroli Betting System

Anyone who is familiar with the highly popular Live Dealer Martingale Betting System might be interested to know that it has a little brother called the Live Dealer Pavoli Betting System. In fact, it might be considered the evil little brother since it is often referred to as the “anti-Martingale” or “reverse-Martingale” betting system.

About the Live Dealer Pavoli Betting System

Where the Live dealer Martingale Betting System requires the Roulette player to double up on each succeeding losing bet until they win, the Live Dealer Paroli Betting System requires the player to double up on each winning bet. Conceptually, this system was designed to take advantage of short winning streaks. This particular type betting system (doubling up on wins) has actually been around since the 16th century, dating back prior to the advent of the Martingale System. As is the case with Martingale, the Live Betting Pavoli Betting System should be used while focusing on the even money bets (Red/Black, Odd/Even, 1-18/19-36) on the Roulette table.

The biggest benefit derived from using the Live Dealer Paroli Betting System is it deemphasizes the need for a larger bankroll. It also eliminates concerns related to table limits. The Paroli sequence typically runs no more than 3-4 spins, depending on the player's preference.

How the Live Dealer Pavoli Betting System Works

At the beginning of the process, the player is required to designate how many consecutive winning spins they want to let the Paroli sequence run before they cash out and begin a new sequence. Conservative players might use three while more aggressive players might run as high as five or six. Since the true odds of 47-48% are the same with each spin, it really makes no difference which number is used. The key to the system is to remain consistent and disciplined.

The first bet establishes the base bet amount. If the first bet losses, the player will continue betting the base amount until the first winning bet is hit. After the first winning bet, they will double up on the next bet. This process will continue until they lose or hit their predetermined number of winning spins.

Example: The base bet amount will be $1 and the predetermined number of spins will be four. If the first bet of $1 loses, the player will again bet $1. After the first winning bet, the bet amount will increase to $2 for the second bet in the sequence. If the second bet wins, the third bet would be $4, eventually stopping with a fourth bet of $8. If the player is able to hit all four bets in this Paroli sequence, they win $15. The maximum loss with each sequence is only $1. The question becomes, “how hard is it to hit four times in a row?”
